Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition is the latest iteration of the title Diablo III. Basically, this is the console version of the expansion pack – Reaper of Souls, released for PC.

The graphics of the game are sensational. It is true that I have played the game on a PlayStation 4 console, but I believe that Blizzard did a very good job when it comes to porting the PC version. Most often, those who have PC’s enjoy a better visual experience than consoles owners, but it seems that is not the case with this game. Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition is running at full HD resolution and 60 frames per second and it feels like this. The battle scenes are full of “fireworks” and the textures are very well represented.

The control scheme has been completely redesigned and this can only enjoy. I was never a fan of dungeon crawler types of games because the character had to be controlled by mouse clicks on the screen. This kind of control seems very impersonal to me and never allowed me to get really into the game action. Keep in mind, this is just a personal opinion. This is the reason why I liked Diablo III on console. The character is controlled directly from the analog sticks and the fight scenes are more exciting when you know the finger button movements transcribe accurately on the screen.

The multiplayer mode is really fun. Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition can be played online with other people, but what I love the most is that you can hand a controller to the friends next to you and play together from the same couch. The game supports up to four players on the same console and is a totally different experience.

The story and the characters from Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition haven’t impressed me. This is not a game that will really draw you in this regard. You interact with characters from the beginning to the end, they are built on stereotypes and clichés, a common thing in games like this.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition is a game that made me rediscover the action RPG genre. It is a title loaded with action, with brilliant rewards, a game that you will want to play more and more to get your character at a more advanced level. Try it and you will see that I am right.
